Well, it looks like Gem thinks she’s found something interesting!

Yes, it’s Miss Crosby’s Spud in a Bucket, finally showing some green! I was beginning to think that I’d killed it from the start. Hopefully, it’ll like its new home by the back door in the warm spring sunlight. It’s definitely one of my favourite spots!

Hopefully your potato is growing well also, though not as well as mine :)

We had our Junior Athletics at school today – a wonderful warm Canterbury day, though unfortunately a couple of us forgot our sunblock and ended up a little pink!

One of my favourite topics is Visual Art, and I’m pleased this term that we’re really getting a chance to explore. Our topic is Exploring Line and we’ve started by looking at the work of Tracey Tawhiao – a New Zealand artist whose work includes the use of acrylic, newspaper, and pastels.
